Initial meeting to discuss scope of project/job. This meeting is an opportunity to gather complete information and specific requirements regarding the function of given spaces. A discussion of designer/client expectations and the sharing of ideas takes place during this time.
Connect with Architectural and Building team to refine plans. Determination of specific budgets and allowances for all finishes is made at this stage.
With budgets decided, the client and design team are ready to prepare a finish plan, and interior finishes for walls, flooring, countertops, ceramic tiles, plumbing, cabinets, hardware, appliances and lighting are decided.
The interior and exterior living spaces are analyzed for furnishings, window coverings, upholstery, accessories, etc. A plan for developing a complete design scheme for given spaces and after written approval, to purchase such items on the client’s behalf as requested. Proposals are presented and approved or changed. Once approved and deposit received, the procurement begins.
Finally, J. Mayfield Interior Design, Inc. monitors all orders, provides warehouse receiving and storage, arranges delivery and assists in the installation of furnishings, art and accessories as needed.
